NexCen Brands to open Atlanta research center
NexCen Brands recently announced the opening of a new 1,200-square-foot research and development facility in Atlanta for its quick-service brands: Great American Cookies, MaggieMoo's, Marble Slab Creamery, Pretzelmaker and Pretzel Time. The company will use the center, near Fulton Industrial Boulevard west of I-285, to test and create new ice cream, cookie and pretzel products. NexCen Brands is based in New York, but NexCen Franchise Management, a subsidiary, is based in Norcross and manages the company's restaurant and retail brands.
